Over the past year, 7th and 8th graders and their teacher, Samantha Mehlhorn, from the Damariscotta Montessori School have been spending time with the residents at Lincoln Home's memory loss care community, Harbor View Cottage. Thursday, the students engaged in creating crafts to celebrate Thanksgiving. These students create a beehive of meaningful activities by spending individual time with each resident. Our residents love spending time with young people, it enriches their day, so evident in their participation, smiles and laughter. We are grateful to the Montessori School students for sharing their time and talents and contributing to the residents' joyful and abundant living at Harbor View Cottage.
