The most prestigious tournament in the world comes to The Waldo! 
 
Starting this Sunday, the 2022 FIFA Men's World Cup hosts 32 nations in Qatar as they compete against each other and bring fans together from around the globe to share the passion and love for soccer. The Waldo will be live streaming the Opening game, a number of the weekend matches and then the Final game. 
 
The Midcoast has tons of soccer fans and we know that it’s hard to find a place to watch The World Cup! So, The Waldo is opening its doors and inviting soccer fans far and wise to gather together to enjoy THE tournament that they have all been waiting for.  It only happens every four years, so let’s make the most of it!  Bring your team! Bring your friends! It’s going to be a blast. 
 
Starting this Sunday, November 20th with the Opening game of Qatar vs. Ecuador at 11am. Then on Sunday, November 27th, we’ll watch Croatia vs. Canada at 11am, and Spain vs. Germany at 2pm.

We plan to also show games on Saturday, December 3rd at 10am and 2pm, and on Sunday, December 4th at 10am culminating with the World Cup Final on Sunday, December 18th at 10am. 
 
This is a free community event. Doors open thirty minutes before the game start. Concessions will be available for sale.
