Realtor Lorrie Zeiner Earns Award for Thirty years of Service
Newcastle Realty is pleased to announce that broker Lorrie Zeiner has been recognized by the Lincoln County Council of the Mountains to Shore Board of REALTORS for her 30 years of service to the REALTOR organization. Lorrie has served as local board president, held various committee chairmanships and was the Maine Association of REALTORS president in 2000. “Being a REALTOR and meeting others from around the state and the country has allowed me to be more involved in the big picture of the real estate industry which, in the end, has helped make a difference in my service to buyers and sellers.”
Mentored early on in her career by other fellow REALTORS, she hopes to pay it forward by being involved in training and mentoring new agents that choose to come to work at Newcastle Realty. “I love working at Newcastle Realty. The camaraderie among the agents, the positive work environment and the professional support from our owner, Dennis Hilton, makes it a pleasure to go to work. Being part of the Cheney Financial Group, which also includes Cheney Insurance and Newcastle Vacation Rentals, is a huge benefit."
Lorrie and her partner, Skip Williams, along with their golden retriever Max, live on Southport Island in a home they designed and built. Together, they enjoy gardening, boating and fly-fishing trips to Grand Lake Stream. “Living in this wonderful place makes us feel like we are on vacation every day”!
Lorrie’s commitment to her clients is of the utmost importance. Going the extra mile goes without saying. “It’s not about selling someone a house--it’s about finding someone a home!” Her advice to anyone thinking of selling: “Find a real estate professional you trust and listen to their advice, especially when pricing your home. Overpricing is the biggest stumbling block to any sale. Are you a buyer? Remember: you deserve the ultimate representation by choosing a buyer agent who will work for you!”
