On Thursday, July 15, Orville Lee, an  incredibly talented singer and songwriter, will be our opening act from 6-9pm, followed by the Boneheads from 7-9pm. The Boneheads are made up of Bob Colwell (keyboards, vocals), Scott Eliot (bass, guitar, vocals), Dickie-Doo Hollis (drums, vocals), and Steve Jones (guitar, vocals). Based in southern Maine, this popular group’s unique blend of roots music includes folk, rock, blues, country, Cajun and soul.

On Wednesday, August 18,  the popular  Jazz Babies will perform from 6-8pm.

Sunday, September 12, we will host a bluegrass festival. For our opening act, from 2-3pm, we welcome The Oyster Creek Fiddlers, directed by Kaity Newell, who are a group of young fiddlers who perform traditional music across mid-coast Maine. From 3-5pm, Maine bluegrass band, the Sandy River Ramblers, are known for their gorgeous three part harmonies and stunning instrumental skills. The group has two CDs of original songs about Maine, mostly penned by bandleader-guitarist Stan Keach, a member of the Maine Country Music Hall of Fame. Lead singers Julie Davenport, Dana Reynolds and Keach handle much of the singing. Virtuoso mandolinist Dan Simons, and hard-driving banjoist Bud Godsoe keep things moving. A Ramblers show runs from heartbreak songs to inspiring anthems about Maine to side-splitting humor.

Proceeds from all our events support our Resident’s Assistance Fund.

The Lincoln Home is the one of the last free-standing, not-for-profit senior care communities in Maine, and receives no federal or state dollars. Your contribution to the Resident Financial Assistance Fund allows us to provide financial assistance to residents of Lincoln County who have limited resources, so they may remain in the Midcoast, a place they love and call home.
