What’s on the Easel?
I painted this standing outside the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library. I felt enveloped in color. It sat in my studio for quite a while. I knew it needed something but I couldn't figure our what. Then it hit me. It needed some grounding! It took about fifteen minutes to tweak it. Some paintings take more thinking time than painting time. This painting was one of them.
