Woodchuck Season

The Community Resource Council has officially opened up the wood burning season for eligible households in Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Southport and Edgecomb. The Woodchucks are always busy and have a year-round operation that includes harvesting, cutting, splitting and stacking and delivering wood. The wood is delivered by the Woodchucks to households whose primary heat source is wood. We are exceptionally blessed to have a group of dedicated and extraordinary volunteer “Woodchucks”.
