Boothbay Harbor Police Blotter: One arrest
On Oct 31 at 9:31 p.m. on Townsend Avenue, Officer Braley arrested Austin Healy, 36, Boothbay Harbor, for violation of protection order.
From Oct. 16 through Nov. 4, Boothbay Harbor Police Officers responded to 260 calls. They conducted nine 911 checks, 41 compliance checks, 21 property checks, 24 escort/transports, community policing nine times, four LCRC intakes, 15 motor vehicle stops, one pedestrian check and three welfare checks. They were on special detail twice, controlled traffic 24 times, and received police information three times. They assisted 11 citizens and attempted to locate one person. They also responded to one animal complaint, nine burglar alarms, one civil complaint, one criminal mischief report, one domestic disturbance, two erratic operations, four fire alarms, five fires, one fight, one harassment report, one juvenile problem, one liquor law violation, 36 medical emergencies, seven motor vehicle accidents, two suicidal people, three suspicious activity reports, four traffic hazards, six reports of theft/forgery/fraud, two threats, one unwanted subject and one violation of protection order.
