Boothbay Harbor Police Blotter: One arrest
On Feb. 13 at 4:41 p.m., Sgt. Higgins arrested Cherie Bibber, 50, Boothbay Harbor, on a probation hold.
From Feb. 4 through March 3, Boothbay Harbor police officers responded to 277 calls. They conducted 15 911 checks, one 911 transfer, 39 compliance checks, 15 property checks, 21 escort/transports, two LCRC intakes, six medication take backs, 20 motor vehicle stops, two pedestrian checks, and three welfare checks. They controlled traffic 26 times, received police information six times, performed community policing 13 times, assisted citizens five times and assisted other agencies twice. They also responded to four animal complaints, 11 burglar alarms, two assaults, one civil complaint, two erratic operations, six fire alarms, four fires, one harassment report, one juvenile problem, 29 medical emergencies, seven medical alarms, six motor vehicle accidents, four parking problems, two found/lost property reports, one sex offense, four suspicious activity reports, four traffic hazards, five theft/forgery/fraud reports, thre threats, and one violation of probation.
