Boothbay Harbor Police Blotter: Two arrests
On Oct. 20 at 11:49 p.m. on Townsend Avenue, Officer Polizzotti arrested Jesse Spicer, 37, of Kingfield, for operating under the influence and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.
On Oct. 24 at 12:37 a.m. on Townsend Avenue, Officer Chryplewicz arrested Jonathan Lowell, 26, of Boothbay, for operating under the influence and operating while license suspended or revoked.
From Oct. 17 through Nov. 5, the Boothbay Harbor Police Department logged 273 calls. The department conducted eight 911 checks, 34 compliance checks, 17 property checks, 35 motor vehicle stops, and assisted citizens 16 times, other agencies three times and with three computer paramedicine checks; provided escort/transport 21 times, community policing seven times, controlled traffic 20 times, was on special detail three times and received police information eight times; and responded to 15 burglar alarms, one assault, one civil complaint, one erratic operations, three fire alarms, 12 fires, one harassment report, three LCRC intakes, three loud noises, 15 medical emergencies, four medical alarms, one mental subject, nine motor vehicle accidents, two parking problems, four found/lost property reports, one suicidal person, six reports of suspicious activity, five traffic hazards, seven theft/forgery/fraud reports, two trespassing reports and two welfare checks.
