Brenda L. Lord

Brenda Lee Lord, 57, of Boothbay died peacefully at her home Nov. 13, 2016 surrounded by family after a two year battle with lung cancer.

Brenda was born on Feb. 24, 1959 in Worcester, Massachusetts, the daughter of Frances Arsenault and Ozelie (Peters). Brenda was a graduate of Boothbay Region High School, Class of 1977. Brenda was well known to her community from working in the public her whole life, starting with Shop 'n Save in her younger days. She then worked for Irving and then managed Amato's where she would greet many people on a daily basis, for 19 years.

She enjoyed playing bingo and gardening in her free time when she was not with family and friends. Brenda was a dedicated worker and when she had time, family and friends were a priority.

She is survived by husband Gerald Lord of 28 years; daughters Amanda and Lindsey, both of Boothbay; sister, Tammy Chubbuck and husband Kevin of Edgecomb; sister, Lisa Orne and significant other Robert Adams; sister, Karen Dalton and husband Ray of Wiscasset; brother, Barry Arsenault and wife Vicki of Georgetown, Maine; granddaughter, Grace Thornton of Boothbay; stepfather, David Chapman of Boothbay; and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Brenda was predeceased by her Mother Ozelie, Father Francis, and two brothers, Bruce and Stephen Arsenault, all of Boothbay.

Visiting hours will be held at Hall’s of Boothbay, 975 Wiscasset Rd, Boothbay, ME. on Thursday, Nov. 17 from 5-7 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at Hall’s of Boothbay, 975 Wiscasset Rd, Boothbay.
