Edward Richardson Hill

Edward Richardson Hill, 12, died November 18, 2012, in a tragic accident involving a bicycle and truck trailer in Elk Grove, Calif.

Edward was born in Elk Grove on October 27, 2000. He attended Kerr Middle School and was a member of its wrestling team. Edward was also the youngest member of the Elk Grove United Methodist Church Choir.

He was an energetic child whose favorite thing in the whole world was his 9-month-old Boxer puppy, “Booger.” Edward loved junk food and was especially fond of pepperoni pizza and cheese quesadillas.

Edward had a happy life and celebrated each day. At the time of his death he was looking forward to being best man at his father's upcoming wedding December 29.

He is survived by his father, Barron Richardson Hill, of Elk Grove, Calif., formerly of East Boothbay, and his new mother, Melinda Hill; a new sister and brother, Niki Jacinto and Justin Jacinto; paternal grandmother Billie Winicov and her husband Herb Winicov of East Boothbay; and paternal grandfather, Edward Richardson Hill and his wife, Marsha, of Phoenixville, Pa.

Services for Edward were held November 25, 2012, at the Elk Grove United Methodist Church.
