Find frogs by flashlight with DRA
Love is in the air! On Friday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m., there will be an opportunity to visit the freshwater marsh at Damariscotta River Association’s (DRA’s) Great Salt Bay Farm to hear some of the region’s most tuneful amphibians sing their mating songs.
DRA Education Director Sarah Gladu will provide a brief overview of frog call identification and some interesting facts about amphibians common to the area.
Participants should bring a flashlight, and boots are recommended. To help DRA with planning, registration is required by May 17. The fee is $5, or free for DRA members.
