WALDOBORO — The Waldoboro Fire Department will be hosting the Maine State Federation of Firefighters 57th Annual Convention on September 10, 11 and 12, 2021, in Waldoboro.
The members of the Waldoboro Fire Department have been working very hard to put together a convention that all will enjoy and remember for years, according to WFD, in a news release. All area residents are invited to join in the fun.
This year marks the twentieth anniversary of the 9-11 attacks. WFD will be holding a special memorial service on Friday evening, at 6 p.m., at the Waldoboro Fire Station, 1600 Atlantic Highway, in remembrance of the events on that day.
Saturday’s parade will step-off at 10 a.m., and will go through the center of the village from 400 Friendship Street at the site of the former Sylvania, and will continue on Jefferson Street and cross the Medomak River on Mill Street and end at Miller School.
Sunday morning, at 9 a.m., the Annual Firemen’s Muster will take place at the Waldoboro Recreation Complex, 590 West Main Street, in Waldoboro.
“So, please join us for the 2021 MSFFF Annual Convention,” said WFD. “Feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you questions or need additional information.”
