The Garden Club of Wiscasset’s annual plant sale scheduled for May 9 has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Next year’s sale will be fantastic as we celebrate 30 years of offering healthy plants and shrubs from our gardens to the community.

Garden club members will be busy throughout this spring and summer maintaining or helping to maintain gardens. Social distancing will, of course, be practiced per state and CDC guidelines.

The lovely gardens we are proud to work in are as follows: The Coastal Cancer Treatment Center Serenity Garden in Bath and the Pownalborough Courthouse Garden in Dresden. The following gardens are in Wiscasset: the Nickels- Sortwell House, Town of Wiscasset Sunken Garden, the Wiscasset Public Library Gardens and Wiscasset Green. We also help with the traffic triangles and Welcome to Wiscasset sign.
