The Garden Club of Wiscasset invites you to join us at Squam Creek Farm on Westport Island from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 13 to learn who we are, what we do, and why we do it, in the hope you will become a member.

Enjoy an old-fashioned ice cream social with water views on these beautiful grounds to experience “Maine: the way life should be.” Our hostess will lead us on a tour of the property and explain how one can create gardens using items found in nature. We’ll end with sundaes in the Sunken Garden, one of Westport Island’s hidden treasures.
