On Saturday, April 20, the Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington Railway Museum will be celebrating Easter on the narrow gauge with Easter Eggspress trains every 35 minutes from 10:50 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Catch a train from Sheepscot Station (97 Cross Road, Alna) to Alna Center Station where egg hunts will be taking place.
Egg hunts will be held for three age groups: (0-3, 4-6, and 7 and up). Bags for collecting eggs will be provided by the museum, so you don't need to bring your own.
Tickets are available by advance reservation beginning March 21 at 6 p.m. at wwfrytickets.simpletix.com. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 4 to12 and free for children 3 and under. For those without computer access, tickets will be available by calling the museum 882-4193 on Saturday, March 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. Advance tickets are considerably cheaper than walk-up tickets and guarantee a spot on the train.
