If you are not a Trump supporter but you haven’t yet decided whether to vote for Susan Collins or Sara Gideon, please keep reading.

Every one of the organizations listed below endorsed Collins when she ran six years ago. Now, every one of them has withdrawn their endorsement and are endorsing Sara Gideon instead:

Planned Parenthood, NARAL (supported Collins in 2002), The Human Rights Campaign, The League of Conservation Voters, The Natural Resources Defense Council Action Fund, Everytown for Gun Safety, Maine AFL-CIO, Massachusetts and Northern New England Laborers, District Council, Painters and Allied Trades International Union District Council 35, Maine State Council of Machinists, and National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare.

Gideon has also been endorsed by: Maine Women’s Lobby, National Organization of Women, Emily’s List, The Sierra Club, Communication Workers of America, Maine State Building and Construction Trades Council, Maine State Association of Letter Carriers, Carpenters Local 349 and 352, United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1445, End Citizens United, and Social Security Works.

I am voting for Sara Gideon. She upholds the values Senator Collins claimed to support. I hope you will join me.
