Barry and Laurie Johndro of Orrington and Robert and Kim Morton of East Boothbay are pleased to announce the engagement of Amy Lynn Johndro to Robert Wallace Morton Jr.

Amy, granddaughter of Ralph and Shirley Carlson of Orrington and the late Lorraine and Martin Ramsey, is a 2007 graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School. She is a 2012 graduate of Husson University where she received bachelor's degrees in criminal justice and psychology. She is currently employed by Hannaford Bros.

Robert, grandson of Robert and Anna Morton of East Boothbay and Robert Verreault of Lewiston, is a 2011 graduate of Boothbay Region High School. He is currently working on his bachelor's degree in criminal justice at Husson University while working for Aubuchon Hardware.

The couple is planning an August 17, 2013 wedding in Boothbay.
