The following courses are being offered by Lincoln County Adult Education.

Let’s Dance!

Put on your dance shoes and join Central Lincoln County Adult Education and ballroom dance instructor Megan Dinsmore for an open ballroom dance for adults.

All levels are welcome. No lessons, just dancing! Come join the fun, Friday, Oct. 17 from 7 to 9 pm at Great Salt Bay School in Damariscotta. The cost of the dance is $12. We will also be offering a dance Friday, Nov. 14 as well. Save when you register for the dance combo for only $20. Light refreshments will be offered at each dance. No street shoes please!

Extreme Savings: A Crash Course in Couponing

Want or need to save some money? Learn how to turn coupons into cash in a one night course Extreme Savings: A Crash Course in Couponing offered by Central Lincoln County Adult Education, Thursday, Oct. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Great Salt Bay School in Damariscotta.

During this informative class you will be guided through the many facets of saving money with coupons. Topics to be discussed include where to get coupons, sale stacking, major retailer coupons, store rewards, sale cycles, organization, and mobile apps. Plus in one week's savings, you can gain back the course fee of $24.

Lebanese Cooking 1

If you love Lebanese food then you will love the Lebanese Cooking 1 course offered by Central Lincoln County Adult Education on Wednesday night, Oct. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nobleboro Central School.

Come enjoy preparing and eating an authentic and delicious Lebanese dinner and dessert.

Instructor Datvik Deirkrikorian comes from Armenian ancestors and was born in Lebanon. She enjoys cooking, craft projects, floral design and working in her garden.

The cost of the course is $19 if you register by Wednesday, Oct. 22 and $24 for all other registrations. There is also a materials fee of $10 payable to the instructor the night of class.

Getting Paid to Talk: An Introduction to Voice Acting

Have you ever been told you have a great voice? If so, do not miss the opportunity to learn how to potentially cash in on it. Register now for the upcoming Central Lincoln County Adult Education course Getting Paid to Talk — An Introduction to Voice Acting on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Great Salt Bay School in Damariscotta.

This exciting class will explore numerous aspects of voice over work for television, film, radio, audiobooks, documentaries and the Internet in your area. Class participants will even have a chance to record a commercial script under the direction of a real producer!

The cost of the course is $24 if you register by Thursday, Oct. 23 and $29 for all other registrations.
