Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: Five arrests
Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 288 calls between Jan. 3 and Jan. 8. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 499 calls for service.
Stuart M. Gurley, 35, of Falmouth was issued a summons Jan. 5 for Failure to Register Vehicle, on Bath Road, Wiscasset, by Deputy David Bellows.
Lester Dancer, 41, of Whitefield was arrested Jan. 3 for Violating Condition of Release, on Trotter Lane, Whitefield, by Deputy Chase Bosse.
Andrew T. Thrasher, 31, of Edgecomb was arrested Jan. 4 on a Kennebec District Court warrant for Failure to Appear, on Back Meadow Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Alonzo Connor.
Rochelle R Warren, 21, of Topsham was arrested Jan. 7 for Burglary, Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer and Violating Condition of Release, on Lower Round Pond Road, Bristol, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Elmer E. Warren, 49, of Dresden was arrested Jan. 7 for Burglary and Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, on Lower Round Pond Road, Bristol, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Tracey J. Williams, 24, of Topsham was arrested Jan. 7 for Burglary, Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer and Violating Condition of Release, on Lower Round Pond Road, Bristol, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
On Jan. 1, an accident occurred on Bailey Road in Alna involving James L. Bailey, 54, of Litchfield. Mr. Bailey was operating his 2012 Honda Fit westbound when he crossed the center of the roadway, exited the road on the left side and hit a stump, where his vehicle came to final rest. Deputy Chase Bosse was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 3, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Michael Godleski, 44, of Boothbay and Diane E. Sleek, 66, of Freeport. Mr. Godleski was operating his 2005 Chevrolet Express westbound on Route 27 when he was unable to stop at the stop sign due to the snow-covered road and struck Ms. Sleek’s 2013 Dodge, which was traveling northbound on Route 1. Detective Jared Mitkus was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 3, an accident occurred on Foster Road in Bristol involving Mitchell D. Holmes, 31, of Bristol and Darryl K. Leroy, 73, of Jefferson. Mr. Holmes was operating his 2002 Freightliner plow northbound, plowing snow and Mr. Leroy was operating his 2017 Freightliner school bus southbound. Mr. Holmes came around a corner and could see Leroy’s school bus and applied his brakes, however, he slid on the snowy, icy roadway into the path of the school bus, where the school bus was struck by the plow on the driver’s side front tire, causing the bus to strike a tree. Sgt. Alan Shea was the investigating officer.
