Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: Five arrests

Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 274 calls for service between Feb. 26 and March 5. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 3,117 calls for service.

Summonses

A 16-year-old male juvenile from Woolwich was issued a summons Feb. 28 for Minor Consuming Liquor, by Deputy David Bellows.

A 16-year-old male juvenile from Bath was issued a summons Feb. 28 for Minor Consuming Liquor, by Deputy David Bellows.

Arrests

David P. Clifford, 25, of Edgecomb was arrested Feb. 28 for Allowing Minor to Possess or Consume Liquor, on Wawenock Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy David Bellows, who was assisted by Deputy Jonathan Colby.

Keegan B. Giles, 19, of Boothbay was arrested Feb. 28 for Violating Condition of Release and Furnishing Liquor to a Minor, on Wawenock Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jonathan Colby, who was assisted by Deputy David Bellows.

Robert T. Jones, 50, of Dresden was arrested March 1 for Operating under the Influence and Motor Vehicle Speeding: 30+ MPH over Speed Limit, on Gardiner Road, Dresden, by Deputy Jonathan Colby.

Christopher Donahue, 32, of Bristol was arrested March 3 for Burglary; Theft by Unauthorized Taking and Violating Conditions of Release, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Detective Scott Hayden, who was assisted by Deputy Alonzo Connor and Warden Merrifield.

Bret A. Keleher, 37, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested March 5 for Criminal Threatening w/Dangerous Weapon; Criminal Mischief; Domestic Violence Assault; Obstructing Report of Crime and Criminal Threatening, on Hendricks Hill Road, Southport Island, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

Accidents

On March 1, an accident occurred on Kingfisher Road in Bristol involving Wade Gould, 36, of Lisbon Falls. Mr. Gould was operating his 2007 GMC Federal Express truck southbound when he hit a patch of ice and went off the road on the left hand side, where the vehicle came to final rest against a tree. Deputy Alonzo Connor was the investigating officer.

On March 2, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Brent T. Wright, 27, of Brunswick. Mr. Wright was operating his 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer southbound when his vehicle was struck by a deer, which was attempting to cross the road, causing front-end damage. Deputy Alonzo Connor was the investigating officer.

On March 2, an accident occurred on Lower Cross Road in Nobleboro involving Myron R. Sawyer, 88, of Nobleboro. Mr. Sawyer was operating his 2005 Saab 9-3 westbound, approaching the West Neck Road, when his vehicle left the roadway on the right side and struck several rocks. Mr. Sawyer advised he might have fallen asleep. Detective Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.

On March 3, an accident occurred on East Pond Road in Nobleboro involving Sheila A. McInnis, 58, of Somerville. Ms. McInnis was operating her 2002 Honda Odessy eastbound when she encountered several vehicles coming around a corner, in her lane. She moved her vehicle to the right and her tires went into soft snow. McInnis then over corrected and began to rotate 180 degrees, where she struck an embankment and rock wall on her roof, after which her vehicle came to rest on its side. Sgt. Mark Bridgham was the investigating officer.

On March 3, an accident occurred on Wildwood Shores Road in Nobleboro involving Mark A. Brown, 26, of Nobleboro. Mr. Brown was operating his 2012 Ford Escape northbound when he encountered a larger unknown black SUV coming directly into his path. The road is very narrow and Mr. Brown skidded and turned left to avoid contact. As a result, he slid into a ditch and down an embankment slightly. Sgt. Mark Bridgham was the investigating officer.

On March 3, an accident occurred on East Pond Road in Nobleboro involving Stacy M. Bradbury, 49, of Damariscotta. Ms. Bradbury was operating her 2014 Toyota Corolla southbound when she observed a deer enter the roadway from the eastbound ditch and run into the front driver’s side of her vehicle. Deputy Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
