Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: Two arrests
Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
On Oct. 6, Deputy Justin Drake investigated a complaint of Criminal Mischief and Criminal Trespass at the Boothbay Region Water District. A chain-link fence had been cut and wire along the top of the fence had been pushed down. At this time there are no suspects or witnesses. Investigation to continue as new leads develop
On Oct. 5, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Florin Ungureanu, 29, of New Harbor. Mr. Ungureanu was traveling north in his 2009 BMW 3-SERI when a deer entered the roadway and he struck it. Deputy Jonathan Colby was the investigating officer.
On Oct. 5, an accident occurred on Rockland Road in Whitefield involving William O’Neil, 54, of Newcastle, Darren Haskell, 52, of Windsor and David Sheppard, 49, of Washington. Mr. Haskell was westbound in his 2014 GMC TG2340 and stopped in traffic. Mr. Sheppard was westbound in a 2016 Ford Transit, slowing down. Mr. O’Neil was westbound in a 2004 Chevrolet 2500 and struck the rear of Sheppard’s vehicle. Sheppard’s vehicle then struck the rear of Haskell’s vehicle. On Oct. 15, Deputy John Braley arrested Casey Ryder, 27 of Boothbay for Fugitive from Justice
On October 5, Deputy Chase Bosse arrested Tucker Lewis, 23, of Boothbay for Probation Violation
On Oct. 11, Detective Scott Hayden summonsed Henry Leathers, 48, of Rome for Felony Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer. He was summonsed in Gardiner. The theft took place in Edgecomb in May 2017.
