SHERIFF TODD BRACKETT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 361 calls for service for the period of 04/16/19 to 04/23/19 and Year to Date, LCSO has responded to 5,180 calls for service.

RECENT SUMMONSES:

04/16/19, Percy Kincaid, 47, of Gardiner was issued a summons for Negotiating a Worthless Instrument and Violating Conditions of Release, at the Kennebec County Jail, Augusta, by Detective Scott Hayden.

RECENT ARRESTS:

04/19/19, Joshua S. Harrington, 28, of Jefferson was arrested for Operating under the Influence, on Hilton Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Sean Pfahler, who was assisted by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

04/20/19, George A. Markos, 29, of Bath was arrested on a Lincoln County District Court warrant for Unlawful Furnishing of Scheduled Drugs, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

04/21/19, Lynda Gauthier, 50, of Greene was arrested for Violating Condition of Release, Operating under the Influence – 1 prior and Aggravated Operating after HO Revocation, - Priors, on Middle Road Dresden, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

RECENT ACCIDENTS:

On 04/18/19, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Damariscotta involving Gregory Brackett, 58, of Bristol.  Mr. Brackett was operating his 2018 Ford F150 northbound when he hit a deer, which was crossing the road from west to east, causing functional damage to the front of his vehicle.  Deputy Chase Bosse was the investigating officer.

On 04/19/19, an accident occurred on South Clary Road in Jefferson involving Cole D. Chapman, 16, of Washington.  Mr. Chapman was operating his 2005 Jeep Liberty northbound when he swerved to avoid an ATV.  As a result, he went off the roadway on the left side, where his vehicle travelled into the woods and began to roll and hit a tree, where it came to rest.  Deputy Jonathan Colby was the investigating officer.
