New art show at Savory Maine

Savory Maine, Dining and Provisions in Damariscotta is pleased to announce an exhibit of the works of many local artists.  Most have shown their work at Savory Maine in the past and a few friends of Savory Maine are participating as well.  The public is invited to an opening reception on Friday, March 23 from 3-5.  Savory Maine will provide delectable sweet and savory finger foods, wine and punch.

The exhibit will be on-going with work replaced as it is sold or as the artists desire. Pictures in oil, watercolor, pastel, ink, acrylic and mixed media, in addition to photographs are displayed in the newly remodeled space.

Participating artists include: Jon Luoma -Alna;  Barbara Bean - Brunswick; Nathan Campbell - Boothbay HarborSarah Carter - formerly of Bristol, now in VirginiaSandra Dunn - Chelsea; Will Kefauver, Kathi Nordone, Ronn Orenstein, Madelyn Woodbury, Polly Steadman - Damariscotta; Carl Root, Bob Rose,  Joan Taylor - Edgecomb; Carol Wiley - Jefferson; Betsy Palmer - Nobleboro; Kris Johnson - Rockland; Kay Miller, South BristolBrooke Pacy, Waldoboro; Sarah Wilde, Walpole, and Diane Langley - Westport Island.

Savory Maine is located at 11 Water Street, with the entrance on the Damariscotta River side of the building.  It is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., serving lunch & dinner in its newly remodeled space!  Closed Tuesday through Thursday in March. For more information call 207 563-2111.
