One Act Festival preview performance
Wiscasset Middle High School (WMHS) Drama is pleased to invite the public to the preview performance of this year’s One Act Festival performance of “Three Tables” by Dan Remmes Thursday, March 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the WMHS gym (272 Gardiner Rd., Wiscasset). Admission is by donation. Stop by the bake sale table to help defray the costs of travel to and from the host site.
The play centers around three couples who are in various stages of a relationship. Celebrating their fifth anniversary are Mandy (senior Leah Potter) and Paul (junior Caleb Gabriele) and in the process of getting a divorce are Barbara (senior Sarah Foley) and Michael (junior Matt Chapman). Getting to know each other on an internet “blind date” are Doris (senior Ayanna Main) and Todd ( senior Kobe Carrier). Freshmen Josh Dualan and Ty DeLong portray waiters, and rounding out the ensemble cast are sophomores Maize Hagerman, Olivia Peaslee, and Megan Syrjala; and freshman Savannah Roberts. The play is directed by WMHS Drama teacher and coach Jean Phillips. The rest of the technical staff includes sophomore Kaydin Nichols (stage manager); senior Ryan Medina and freshman Gwen Webber (lights); and the set has been designed and constructed by WMHS Tech Theatre Design class.
