Individuals and foursomes, men as well as women, are invited to participate in fun and games at the annual P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) Games Day on Friday, June 22 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. to raise funds for the group’s women education projects.
Mahjong, party bridge and board games will be played at the Inn at St. Andrews Village, Emery Lane, Boothbay Harbor. Other players will go to the Rotary Clubhouse at 66 Montgomery Road, also in Boothbay Harbor for sanctioned duplicate bridge.
Dessert and beverages are included in the ticket cost which is $15 per person. Proceeds from Games Day will go to P.E.O.’s six scholarship projects that assist outstanding women with financial needs to go to college or acquire professional certifications.
