Dear Editor:

The Maine State Legislature has recently passed LD820, LD1261  and LD1313. LD820 requires that specific abortion services must be funded by the state. LD1261 allows a physician assistant or an advanced practice registered nurse to perform abortions. LD1313 legalizes physician assisted suicide.

What value has Maine placed on life?
