In spite of damp conditions, Wiscasset Parks and Recreation held its 21st annual Easter Egg Hunt on the Wiscasset Middle High School soccer field on Saturday, April 20.

Event coordinator Bonnie Blagdon said 6,000 plastic eggs containing treats had been placed on the field; 22 held tickets for special treats. New this year a special area was marked for children under the age of 4, she said.

The Easter Bunny was on hand to have his picture taken with the children.
