Savory Maine's benefit Open Mic
Join us Wednesday, Feb. 8 at Savory Maine in Damariscotta for dinner and live music! Doors will open at 5 p.m. for delicious local food and organic beer, wine, coffee and tea. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase all night and Savory Maine's full menu will be available.
The open mic will run from 6-8:30 p.m., with a 15-minute break. Musician signup is at 5:30 p.m. for eight-minute, two-song slots designed for individual or small group performances. Musicians, singers, poets and other performers will demonstrate their talents. This is a great opportunity for the Damariscotta community to hear great music and support a great organization.
The evening is a benefit for Spectrum Generations, the Central Maine Area Agency on Aging. A portion of the proceeds from meals will be donated and the organization will have donation containers at the tables.
Spectrum Generations' mission, vision and service plan's focus is to enable: The ability to live in one's own home and community safely, independently, and comfortably, regardless of age, income, or ability level enables a person to live a more physically and socially healthy life.
