Marketing your business these days is so much more than newspaper ads, street signage, emails or updating your website - it’s become a social media experience. On Thursday, September 13, SCORE Augusta will present a free social media marketing workshop, in collaboration with Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission. The workshop runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the LCRPC, 297 Bath Road, Wiscasset, and is sponsored by TD Charitable Foundation.
Social Media Strategist Abbie McGilvery of From The Nest will touch on 10 topics small business owners need to be aware of when planning a social media strategy and creating content. We will discuss how to use social media channels more effectively to build visibility for your business, how to simplify and focus your social media marketing efforts, and which simple tools you can use to make your marketing efforts more manageable. This workshop will help you get the knowledge needed to make your social media efforts more successful and rewarding.
