Dear Editor:

My wife and I would like to thank Bobby Blagden for his contribution as one of Wiscasset’s selectmen and budget committee member. Bobby took time out of his life for many years to help keep things going in the right direction and deserves our thanks and respect.

Whenever we had a question about town business, Bobby was sensible and civil and well informed, and on point where Wiscasset’s taxpayer interests were concerned.

Here’s hoping his replacement will be a voice of reason as well.
