Social Media Strategist Abbie McGilvery will present tools and tips for small businesses at a free SCORE workshop on Thursday, Sept. 13, at 9:30 a.m. at the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission in Wiscasset.
How does your small business reach new customers? Isn’t social media time-consuming? The workshop will help small businesses learn how to make social media work for you. Small businesses will learn about different social media channels, which ones might work best for you, and how to develop content to expand your marketing efforts.
McGilvery is based in Portland. Ms. McGilvery helps individuals and organizations focus on their marketing goals and plan for growth. Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission provides a variety of economic and community development services to Lincoln County towns and businesses. SCORE Maine’s mentors provide free small business assistance throughout the state with more than 3,100 clients counseled in 2017. This workshop is part of a series of free or low-cost business education workshops presented by SCORE Augusta.
