Warming centers in Lincoln County for Friday and Saturday

    Maine Emergency Management Agency has announced the following warming centers in Lincoln County during the extremely cold temperatures expected on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3 and 4.

    Boothbay Region YMCA, 251 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor. A warming center and charging station. Hours are Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bathrooms and showers available. Limited parking due to swim meet at noon.

    Central Lincoln County YMCA, 525 Main St., Damariscotta. A warming center and charging station. Hours are Friday, from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bathroom and showers available.

    Second Congregational Church, 144 Mills Road, Newcastle. A warming center. Hours are Friday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Faith Baptist Church, 144 Mills St., Newcastle. Overnight warming, shelter and warming center. Hours are from Friday at 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Saturday. Bathroom available.

    Wiscasset Community Center, 242 Gardiner Road, Wiscasset. A warming center. Hours are Friday from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kitchen, pets accepted, bathroom, showers, generator, water and WiFi.

    Southport Town Hall, 361 Hendricks Hill Rd, Southport. A warming center. Friday and into Saturday evening. Bathroom available.
