On Aug. 12, Nicholas Merry, 35, of Wiscasset for Domestic Violence Assault and Domestic Violence Terrorizing
On Aug. 13, Linda Ancona, 58, of Wiscasset for Domestic Violence Assault.
On Aug. 12, police responded to an accident west of the intersection of Bradford Street on Bath Road. A 2003 Mazda owned by William Cherry, 65, of Wiscasset was parked legally in the driveway of 99 Bath Road when it was hit by a 2019 Nissan driven by Stephen Smith, 28, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Smith was driving eastbound in an erratic, reckless, careless and negligent manner. He hit the Mazda in the driveway. Smith said he'd been driving since 6 p.m. the night before and fell asleep. The Mazda sustained functional damage to the rear driver side. The Nissan was towed due to disabling damage to the front driver corner.
On Aug. 16, police responded to an accident at the intersection of Route 1 and Water Street. William Cusack, 63, of West Lebanon, New Hampshire, driving a 2014 Toyota, failed to yield the right of way to bicyclist Shawn Reinhardt, 27, of Edgecomb. Reinhardt was crossing the street prior to the crash. He sustained a suspected minor injury.
