Buildings and Grounds Associate

Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round The Boothbay Railway Village and Museum is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Buildings and Grounds Associate to help maintain the museum’s historic buildings, grounds, and facilities. In this role, you’ll assist with a range of tasks, including building repairs, landscaping, snow removal, event setup, and custodial duties. The ideal candidate will be physically able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions and be comfortable using hand tools, small machinery, lawn equipment, and other duties as assigned. Experience in general maintenance, landscaping, or custodial services is preferred, but training will be provided. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Applicants should also be willing to work some weekends and during special events. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with a team are essential.
