Director of Development
The Boothbay Railway Village &
Museum, a beloved living history
destination in Midcoast Maine,
is seeking a strategic and
relationship-driven Director of
Development to lead its
fundraising efforts. This senior
leadership role will oversee
all aspects of development,
including individual and major
giving, grants, sponsorships,
and capital campaigns. The ideal
candidate brings at least five
years of nonprofit fundraising
experience, a passion for
history and community
engagement, and the ability to
craft compelling stories that
connect donors to mission-driven
impact. Strong writing,
relationship-building, and
strategic planning skills are
essential. This is an on-site
role with some seasonal
flexibility for remote work. To
