Artists, authors, artisans, fiber arts, organic skin care products, stained glass, jewelry, photography, and so much more will be found at Studio 53 in Boothbay Harbor next weekend.

This annual Holiday Gifts for Giving opens Thursday, Nov. 16 for four days. Studio 53 welcomes new creative types showing their wares this year. Nettie Locke Rogers, Pamela Wilkoff Riml, Suzi Thayer, Melissa Nein,  and Julia O'Brien Merrill. The gallery is always decked out for this last show of the year and brimming with attractively displayed gift ideas, some of which are bound to scream out someone’s name from your Hanukkah, Yule, Christmas or Kwanza list! The gala reception (code for if you can only come one night, make it this one) will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17.

Gift items fill the first floor of the gallery, but art by members of Studio 53’s artist collective is displayed (and for sale unless otherwise noted!) on the second and third floors that should not be missed! Artist collective members are gallery owners and artists Heidi Seidelhuber and Terry Seaman, Bob McKay, Lynne Seitzer, Don Josephson, Nancy Wilkoff, Greg Laderer and Tony van Hasselt. Dick Alden’s stone sculptures are in the Sculpture Garden behind the gallery on the water.
