Wiscasset Police Blotter Feb. 19-25
Chief Jeff Lange reported the following activity for Feb. 19-Feb. 25:
On Feb. 19, Abby Blagdon, 31, of Wiscasset was arrested for OUI (drugs) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On Feb. 20, Abby Blagdon, 31, of Wiscasset was arrested following an accident at Irving Mainway, for Driving to Endanger, OUI (with prior), Violating Conditions of Release, and Operating While License Suspended or Revoked.
On Feb. 24, Tina Pinkham, 45, of Wiscasset was summonsed for Operating While License Suspended or Revoked.
On Feb. 20, a 2017 Honda driven by Nicholas Mavodones, 58, of Portland struck a 2002 Ford driven by Russell Brewer, 55, of Boothbay Harbor from behind as Brewer was turning into McDonald's on Route 1. No injuries were reported.
On Feb. 20, at the intersection of Indian and Lowelltown roads, Stephen Hall, 72, of Bremen, driving a Dodge van owned by Waldo Community Action Partners, failed to stop at the stop sign on Indian Road and struck a Chevrolet operated by Jacob Williams, 31, of Woolwich. A passenger in the Chevrolet was transported to Mid Coast Hospital.
On Feb. 25, a single-car accident occurred on Alna Road involving a 2009 Nissan Titan operated by William Nery, 74, of Newcastle. On Feb. 25, a single-vehicle accident occurred on Fowle Hill Road involving a 1997 GMC 1500 operated by Ronald Smith, 35, of West Bath. The vehicle was towed.
There were 113 calls for service. Sixty were property checks or responses to burglar alarms; 18 were traffic-related. There were six medical calls, three welfare or 9-1-1 checks, three theft complaints, and four instances of suspicious activity. There were two issues involving juveniles, three drug investigations, and one instance of community policing at Winterfest. And a found wallet was turned in to the department.
