After serving the people of House District 48 since 2018, I have come to understand what true leadership requires: integrity, commitment, and a deep respect for the values that unite our community. As I conclude my final term due to state term limits, I am proud—and deeply honored—to endorse Charlotte Nutt as the next representative for Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, South Bristol, Southport, and Westport Island. 

I have known Charlotte for a very long time and have had the privilege of watching her grow into the remarkable person she is today. Over the years, I’ve seen her pursue her goals with determination and develop her own professional aspirations with grace and maturity. Charlotte possesses a calm steadiness and wisdom that speaks volumes about her character. She has already accomplishedgreat things in her own career, and I know she will bring that same drive and focus on serving our district as our next State Representative. 

Charlotte’s roots run deep here, much like my own. She is a lifelong member of this community, shaped by the people and traditions that make our coastal communities so special. Her upbringing in Edgecomb, her family’s ties to our community, and her experiencesreflect her strong connection with the values we hold dear. 

Charlotte Nutt is prepared, capable, and deeply committed to the priorities that matter most: strengthening our communities, protecting our way of life, and ensuring every voice is heard in Augusta. I have every confidence that she will represent District 48 with clarity, conviction, and a heartfelt dedication to all who call this place home.
