Equifax data breach: What to do?

On Wednesday Sept. 27 at 6 p.m., Jane Carpenter, founder of Maine Identity Services, will present a special evening session entitled “Equifax Data Breach: What to Do?” This timely program will be held at The Community Center and is open free to the public.

Carpenter is a veteran of the Maine Attorney General’s Office and a member of the FBI-sponsored InfraGard organization. She has assisted many identity theft victims and is often called upon by law enforcement to provide identity theft and data breach instruction. Her expertise in the field has enabled her to help tool necessary legislation to help victims of the crimes.

The Equifax Data Breach program will have a 45-minute presentation of the latest facts and there will be a generous question and snswer session to follow.

The Community Center is located in the Meadow Mall. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6 p.m. program.
