What do nets, hooks, buoys, gaffes and rope have in common?

For one, they are all staples in this sea faring and fishing community.

For another, they will form the basis for a fashion show this weekend.

The first Fishin' for Fashion will be held Saturday, Sept. 6 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Rocktide Inn.

The fashion show will feature varied fashion designers and models strutting along a unique catwalk. The proceeds will benefit local students invested in a career path that involves fashion.

The models will be wearing designs that incorporate fishing and nautical gear to make the designs unique to the region.

General admission costs $25 for adults, and includes hors d'oeuvres and a wine tasting. The price of admission for children 12 and under is $10.
