Georgia F. Emerson of Boothbay Harbor died Sept. 20, 2015.

She was born April 11, 1932 on Boston Light in Hull, Massachusetts, the first person born on the oldest lighthouse in this country.

Georgia attended schools in Hull, Massachusetts, and South Bristol.

The daughter of Ralph and Josephine Norwood, she had five brothers and three sisters.

She was predeceased by her parents, seven brothers and sisters, and one son, Jimmy.

Georgia was married to James A. Emerson for 37 years and is survived by her children, Randall Page, Bonnie and Willie (and Willie's wife, Edie), and her grandchildren, Scott, Brandon, Aaron and Jody.

She loved the Lord and her family. She took care of children for years and then went on to be a caregiver for senior citizens.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
