James N. Seavey, 47, of Edgecomb died peacefully at home on June 28, 2012.

Born to James Everett Seavey and Sandra Yvonne Sargent Seavey on February 2, 1965, he attended local schools and fished the Sheepscot River as a young man. He went on to become an accomplished mason and enjoyed success in commercial fishing as well as marine construction.

Jim was surrounded by friends and family throughout his illness. He also enjoyed his solitude and was an avid reader. As a result, his sense of humor often contained bits of wisdom. He had a great love for all animals, always having many through the years.

He was predeceased by his mother Sandra and aunt Nancy Sargent who held a very special place in Jim’s heart.

Survived by his father James and brother Harold. He enjoyed a wonderful relationship with his children, Joe and Ashley Frazer; their sisters, Amy and Katy Harrington, and their mother, Linda Giles.

Jim will be truly missed by all. There will be a memorial service to be an-nounced at a later date.
