Jane Susan Willett of Camden died in Brunswick on Feb. 20, 2016 with her daughter by her side.

She was born February 28, 1935 in Framingham, Massachusetts to Raymond and Theodora Adams.

Jane graduated from Framingham High School in 1953 and from Boston University in 1957 with a teaching degree. Following college she became a homemaker for 20 years. She adopted one child in 1969 and another in 1970. In 1979, while living in Windsor, Vermont, she taught math and typing to middle school children. She then moved to Massachusetts (Weymouth and Falmouth) where she worked as a legal secretary until her retirement.

Jane loved to travel, especially to Europe and the West Indies. She was an excellent seamstress, even making her family’s clothing. She was a very caring mother and grandmother, never missing a birthday. She was also a long time member of The Order of the Eastern Star.

Jane was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Charles Adams.

She is survived by: her daughter, Lori Friant and her husband Joe of Cushing; granddaughter, Winter Aldous Page of Boothbay Harbor; and grandson, Ben Douglas Dickinson of Boothbay.

At Jane’s request, no services will be held.
