Raffles for themed gift baskets will be on sale at the annual Christmas Fair at St. Patrick’s Church on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Cheverus Hall at St. Patrick’s Church on Academy Hill Road in Newcastle.

Irish made foods, tea and books, Christmas items and Chocolate make up the raffle baskets. In addition, one of the last paintings by the late Deacon Marty Fallon and a quilt will be raffled off to lucky winners.

Tickets are reasonable: $1 each, 6 for $5 and an arm length for $10. Ticket buyers don’t have to wait until 3 p.m. at the end of the fair; holders of winning tickets will be notified by phone. Come to shop at the vendor and craft tables, enjoy lunch at the Shamrock Café, pick up some Christmas greenery and take a chance on some great prizes.
