Tue, 06/27/2017 - 7:15am

Do you enjoy singing show tunes, hymns, and patriotic songs while having a picnic lunch overlooking the beautiful Sheepscot River? If the answer was yes to even one of these, you are cordially invited to attend a Sing-A-Long at Fort Edgecomb State Historic Site, located at 66 Fort Road, on Sunday, July 9 at 3 p.m., sponsored by Edgecomb Community Church.

Pianist, Vicky Bedi, will be on hand to accompany us in the singing of some of our all-time favorite show tunes, hymns and patriotic songs including, “Tomorrow” (from “Annie”), “Morning has Broken,” “America the Beautiful” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.”

Please bring your own picnic lunch, chair or blanket and parasol and join your neighbors and friends in this special family summertime event. Refreshments of cookies and lemonade will be available.

Parking at Fort Edgecomb is limited. It is recommend that you carpool from the Edgecomb Community Church parking lot. The church is located at 15 Cross Point Road at the intersection of Cross Point and Eddy roads (from Wiscasset - take immediate right after the Wiscasset Bridge and follow Eddy Road up the hill to Cross Point Rd.  The church is right at the corner).
