Snowmobile club holds first-ever Christmas Party

The Wiscasset Sno-Goers snowmobile club held their first-ever Christmas party at the club house at 8 Recycle Way, near the Recycle Center. It was kicked off with a potluck supper at 6:30 p.m. Members enjoyed dishes brought by members and two pizzas donated by Wiscasset General Store.

A Yankee Swap was enjoy by all members. The Swap was followed with the business meeting. Many trail items were discussed. Several bridges need to be worked on and trees and limbs need to be trimmed from the trails. Several of the wives stuffed Christmas cards to land owners and business members.

Trail work goes on every Sunday morning from the club house. The coffee is on by 7:30 a.m. and members strike out between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. to do miscellaneous work on the trail. All members and non-members are asked to respect landowners and stay on the marked trails.
