There will be a special Christmas Eve service for all ages, "Opening the Stable Door," in the Skidompha Library Atrium (Damariscotta) at 4 p.m. on Dec. 24.

The Rev. Erika Hewitt of the Midcoast Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will honor the ways we invite ourselves to be changed, personally and as a community, by opening or entering the figurative doors we encounter.

Pianist Kevin Kiley and the MUUFles will offer special music and all are invited to stay for refreshments and conversation after the service.
