Partners in Education (PIE), a nonprofit educational foundation serving the Wiscasset community, has created a committee to organize a strategic planning session that would identify Wiscasset's core values for public education, create a vision statement for our schools and agree on one, three, five and ten year goals.

To this end, the committee seeks input from the community on nine questions about Wiscasset schools and public education in general. These questions are available online at the town website or by visiting: www.surveymonkey.com/s/PBLH9QN.

The survey is also available in hard copy form at the Town Office, the Transfer Station and the Community Center. Please respond by April 25. The Strategic Planning Organizing Committee (SPOC) will meet to review the results of the surveys on Monday, April 28 at 6 p.m. in the Wiscasset Primary School library. The public is welcome.
