Come out to support the arts and our local youth actors in the upcoming Y Arts production of “Music Man Junior!” The cast of 45 will present two performances at the Lincoln Theater in Damariscotta at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19 and Friday, Oct. 20. 

 

Master showman Harold Hill is in town and he’s got “seventy-six trombones” in tow. Can upright, uptight Marian, the town librarian, resist his powerful allure?  The story follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize. The catch? He doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, whose belief in Harold’s power just might help him succeed in the end in spite of himself.

 

Finn Sullivan will lead the cast, starring as Harold Hill! Tickets are $5 and all seats are general admission.  Advance tickets are suggested and can be purchased via the Lincoln Theater website: https://lincolntheater.net.  Advance tickets or confirmation emails may be printed for admission OR you may check in with your email address at the theater box office when you arrive. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door beginning 30 minutes before showtime.
